Itamar Harris Successfully Defends Dissertation

We are pleased to share that Itamar Harris, PhD candidate at CARD, WPI, successfully presented her PhD dissertation proposal on April 30, 2025. Her proposed dissertation is titled, “Drying and Heating of Moist Porous Media with Laser Technology: A Fundamental and Applied Study”.

Itamar’s committee members consisted of her advisor, Professor Jamal Yagoobi, and Professors Yuxiang Liu and Kedar Shete of MME Department at WPI as well as Drs. Toby Strite of IPG Photonics and Wei Yang of Mondelez International.
