CARD Researcher, Itamar Harris, is Engaged!

Itamar Harris is engaged!
We are excited to announce that CARD PhD candidate in Mechanical and Materials Engineering Department at WPI, Itamar Harris, accepted a marriage proposal from her boyfriend, Antony Garcia! Antony is a PhD candidate in the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department at WPI. Both Itamar and Antony came to WPI as Fulbright Scholars from Panama. Antony surprised Itamar by proposing to her at the New York Yankees baseball stadium during their game against Toronto Blue Jays on September 7th, 2025.
The faculty, students, and staff of CARD are beyond thrilled to announce and celebrate the engagement of Itamar and Antony!
