Two of our technical papers were presented at this year’s International Mechanical Engineering Congress & Exposition (IMECE). The first paper, Experimental Study of Heat Transfer Characteristics of Drying Process with Dielectrophoresis Mechanism, focuses on an energy efficient method to enhance the drying rate of porous materials. Our second paper, Drying of a Fully Saturated Porous Medium With Excess Water Layers, explores using numerical modeling, a novel drying technology that decrease energy use and lessens the manufacturing processes’ carbon footprint. The article can be found here.
